The upcoming workshop is a follow-up to a meeting in February 2012 that dealt with questions related to fate, destiny, divine intervention and similar concepts in different Indian traditions. The leading idea is to bring together material from diverse sources and historical epochs that may serve as a starting point for both creating a larger picture and making connections with non-Indian conceptions. This time, both advanced papers that resulted from the previous workshop and fresh ones from new participants will be presented and extensively discussed in preparation for a publication.
